The Lodge
Overview:
Leopardsong Game Lodge was built in 2003 and is a self-contained, air-conditioned lodge set within 100 hectares of safety-fenced bush, home to free-ranging zebra, nyala, duiker, warthogs, and impala. This “safe zone” lies within the 22,500-hectare Dinokeng Big Five Game Reserve.
The lodge’s purpose is to give as many people as possible the opportunity to experience the excitement and beauty of a Big Five safari at an affordable price. Since the current owners purchased the lodge, all guest revenue has been reinvested into the lodge, staff, animals, and local community. No dividends or payments have ever been taken by the two owners.
This philosophy, combined with successful breeding programmes, helps raise awareness of the animals and supports their conservation for future generations.
Accomodation: The lodge accommodates up to 16 guests in eight en-suite rooms.
Food: We are proud of our excellent South African cuisine. Our chefs are happy to cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including vegetarian, halal, and kosher options. Meals are enjoyed in the on-site dining room, followed by relaxed evenings around the roaring fire in the boma, or a special braai in the heart of the game park.
Facilities: During the day, guests can cool off in the swimming pool or enjoy a cold beer from the bar or a glass of wine.
The Pride of Africa helicopter pad is available for Leopardsong guests. Please advise at the time of booking if required.
